Celebrate with us at our Annual Public & Members Meeting

NORTHAMPTONSHIRE Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is celebrating its first year of becoming a Foundation Trust at its Annual Public and Members Meeting on 27 September at the Kettering Conference Centre.

2009/2010 was a very successful year for Northamptonshire Healthcare.  As well as gaining foundation trust status, the trust also completed Berrywood Hospital in Northampton, a new hospital with state-of-the-art facilities for the county, and received consistently good reviews by the Care Quality Commission.

This year’s annual public and members meeting is different - with a twist of ‘fun and learning’.  Starting at 1.30pm, the meeting promises to be a great opportunity to meet with and get to know more about many of the trust’s services, to take part in a fun quiz, and hear from two of the trust’s local award-winning projects.

It is also an opportunity for foundation trust members to meet their governor – the team of service users, carers, staff, public representatives and partners, who help the trust to develop and improve its services.  It is also an opportunity to find out more about becoming a member of the trust and to join.
